Practices nationwide looking for replacement EHRs that can quickly qualify for federal dollars

While many practices are just beginning their path to meaningful use with electronic health records, more and more practices are looking for replacement EHRs.

A recent report published by KLAS, an EHR market research firm, found the number of practices searching for a replacement EHR system increased from 30% to 50% from 2011 to 2012. Practices are looking for providers with better functionality, support and customer service. This is resulting in EHR buyers looking to smaller vendors, hoping to get the service they need.

NCG medical has been tracking this trend for about a year. We've heard directly from doctors that they're looking for a simpler solution to qualify for federal requirements and get in line for technology incentives. The most critical issues are ease-of-use and not disrupting the workflow of the practice

Nearly 4 out of 10 physicians that come to NCG Medical are looking for a replacement electronic health record system. Some physicians have shelved EHR programs the cost 10 times more than perfect care. Perfect Care EHR provides an easy pathway when meeting the federal incentives without any additional workload by the physician. Perfect Care is also by a team that assures success.
